Auxiliary valves

In-line valves are hydraulic valves installed in the line that take care of the small but important things in a circuit without replacing the entire control valve: the cylinder must not drift, the motor must be protected from pressure peaks, the speed of movement must be set correctly, or an attachment must be connected to an existing pressure line.

This category includes check valves and pilot-operated check valves, pressure valves, restrictor and flow control valves, flow dividers, directional valves and high-pressure ball valves. Most are installed between the control valve and the actuator in the hose or pipe line, but some mount directly on the actuator. Pilot-operated check valves are available with tube connections and in banjo versions for mounting on the side of a cylinder, and dual relief valves bolt directly onto the work ports of a gerotor motor. Selection is based first on maximum pressure and flow, then on the connection and finally on the adjustment range and control method. For corrosive conditions there are also AISI 316 stainless steel models.

If the valve is to be mounted in a manifold, choose a cartridge valve, and in a Cetop power unit the same functions are handled by sandwich valves.
