Valves

Hydraulic valves control which actuator the oil goes to, at what pressure and how fast. The category is divided by mounting method. Mobile valves are monoblock and sectional valves for mobile machinery, as well as tipper, front loader and selector valves with spare parts. Subplate-mounted valves are mounted on the subplate of a power unit in Cetop sizes, and sandwich valves are stacked between the subplate and the directional valve. Cartridge valves are screwed into a valve body or manifold, in-line valves are installed in a hose or pipe line or directly on the actuator, and hydraulic steering units are steering control units for open-centre and LS systems.

Selection starts with the function: changing direction, limiting pressure or controlling speed. Then the mounting method, port size and maximum pressure and flow are decided. A solenoid-operated valve needs a coil with the correct voltage and connector, and coils, connectors and valve bodies are in the same category.
