DG876 - Butterfly valve with pneumatic actuator, NBR

The OMAL KRAVEN item 876 butterfly valve is supplied as a complete assembly with a double-acting AGO DAN pneumatic actuator. The actuator size is selected by OMAL for the specific valve size, so no separate sizing calculation or mounting kit is needed.

NBR is suitable for general service, compressed air, cold water, hydraulic fluids, methane, butane, petroleum, sea water, abrasive pneumatic conveying circuits and animal and vegetable fats, with good abrasion resistance. NBR is not suitable for acetone, ketones, nitrates or chlorinated hydrocarbons.

Torque sizing

The valve breakaway torque at PN16 is 24 Nm for DN80, 42 Nm for DN100 and 60 Nm for DN125. OMAL has selected the actuators above these values with sufficient margin — the catalogue sizing guidance is a safety factor of 1.3. The values apply to clean liquids and gases at medium temperatures.
