PLV - Quick Motion Valve
Used e.g. in log splitters to speed up the low-force motion phase by directing oil returning from the cylinder rod side to the piston side.
• Return oil from port C1, from the cylinder rod side, is directed to
port P. When the set pressure level is reached, oil returning from the
cylinder is directed to port V1.
• The cylinder rod side is connected to port C1
• The cylinder piston side is connected via a T-branch between port P and
the other port of the directional control valve
• Port V1 is connected to the other port of the directional control valve
