KLVS - Load Holding Valve

• If the load starts to run away, the control signal decreases and
the valve closes. The counterbalance spool maintains a position
that keeps the control signal positive and regulates the load
lowering.
• The valve is used in applications where smooth
operation and almost no cylinder leakage are required.
• The valve prevents cavitation of the actuator and ensures positive
control under overloads.
• Control valves must not be subjected to backpressure, because
this affects performance and may cause instability
in operation.
