Double overcentre valve
Double-acting counterbalance valve can be used e.g. for holding a boom in position and for smooth lowering. The second working port does not open until the pilot pressure of the first port rises above the set minimum value.
- V1 and V2 are connected to the pressure lines
- C1 and C2 are connected to the lines going to the actuator

- The valve pressure setting must be at least 1.3 times higher than the load pressure, so that the valve can close even when the load pressure is at its highest
