VC0E - Coaxial valve OMAL VIP, spring return NC

The OMAL VIP is a coaxial valve in which the closing element moves in line with the flow inside the pipe. The design is self-balancing: line pressure does not tend to open or close the valve, so the required control force stays constant across the whole pressure range. The flow path is straight and unobstructed, which makes the valve durable also with dirty and abrasive media.

These versions are spring return, normally closed (NC): when air pressure is lost, the spring closes the valve. Suitable for applications requiring a fail-safe position where the line must close by itself in case of a fault.

• Filtered control air, lubrication not required; use dry air below 0 °C

• NAMUR interface for solenoid valve as standard; limit switches and position indication available as accessories

The Kv value is the flow coefficient in m³/h with water (15 °C) at a pressure drop of 1 bar. When sizing, verify that the calculated pressure drop stays within the system limit at full flow.
