Stucchi VEP-P is a screw-to-connect flat face coupling for high pressures and pressure peaks, for example on hydraulic hammers and drilling rigs. It can be connected with residual pressure in the coupler or nipple. The page has couplers and nipples 1" and 1 1/4" BSP, aluminium caps and a repair kit.
- Screw connection: no ball-lock wear under pressure peaks; triple valve system allows connection with residual pressure
- Flat face valves: minimal spillage and air inclusion when connecting, easy to clean
- VEP17P: rated flow 100 l/min (max. 200), working pressure coupled 500 bar, uncoupled female 330 bar
- VEP21P: rated flow 189 l/min (max. 378), working pressure coupled 470 bar, uncoupled female 300 bar
- Coupler and nipple: carbon steel, threaded zone nitrided (QPQ), other surfaces zinc plated; seals NBR, PU and POM, anti-extrusion rings PTFE
- Suggested connection torque: VEP17P 5.6 Nm, VEP21P 8.2 Nm; final tightening with a wrench
- Caps made of anodised aluminium; always protect disconnected couplings
- Working pressure column coupled / uncoupled; flow rated / max.
