Breathing air unit Festo MS6 G1/2"

Festo MS6 air preparation unit assembled from three modules for breathing air preparation. The activated carbon filter removes liquid and gaseous oil particles from the compressed air. Supplied pre-assembled with a mounting bracket.

Assembly

• MS6-LFR-1/2-D6-C-R-M-MPA-AS (Festo 526490) – filter regulator, inlet pressure max 20 bar, regulated outlet pressure max 7 bar, gauge with MPa scale
• MS6-LFM-1/2-A-R-M (Festo 529655) – fine filter, inlet pressure max 20 bar, medium temperature max +60 °C
• MS6-LFX-1/2-R (Festo 529679) – activated carbon filter, inlet pressure max 20 bar, medium temperature max +30 °C

Note on temperature: the activated carbon module limits the medium temperature of the whole unit to +30 °C even though the other modules withstand +60 °C. Exceeding it degrades oil separation performance.

Note on pressure: this unit regulates to 7 bar. The paint spraying unit looks identical but regulates to 12 bar — check the label before installation.

The activated carbon filter is also available as a separate spare part.
