Volume booster – pilot-operated pressure regulator

Volume booster – pilot-operated pressure regulator

High-flow pressure regulator whose outlet pressure is set by a pilot pressure. A small regulator can control the pressure of a large line.

A volume booster is a remotely controlled pressure regulator: the outlet pressure of the main line equals the pressure applied to its G 1/4" pilot port. The pilot pressure can be set with a small manual regulator, a precision regulator or an electronic proportional regulator, so a small, inexpensive regulator controls the pressure of a large line – also from a distance, e.g. from a control panel, or from automation.

  • High flow at constant pressure: up to 31,500–50,000 l/min
  • The pilot regulator can be placed anywhere, e.g. when the booster is hard to reach
  • Electronic pressure control of a large line with a proportional regulator
  • Automatic relieving of overpressure on the outlet side
  • Media compressed air and neutral gases, temperature -10…+80 °C
  • Aluminium body, NBR diaphragm and seals, supplied without gauge
