Male threaded shank polypropylene for composite hose
Polypropylene (PP) male threaded hose shank for composite hoses. The metal-free PP shank suits chemical hoses where steel or aluminium parts do not withstand the conveyed medium. The required coupling, e.g. a camlock coupling, is screwed onto the shank.
- Material: polypropylene (PP)
- Male thread, sizes 2", 3" and 4" (PPUK-080: 3" thread for DN80 hose)
- The shank is attached to the hose with a crimp ferrule and the coupling screwed on – a damaged coupling is easy to replace
- Composite hose assemblies up to 4" are manufactured in Nurmijärvi and pressure tested and stamped if required
