IFM - Inductive sensors
ifm electronic inductive proximity sensors for non-contact detection of metal targets: threaded housings M8, M12 and M18 and the rectangular IS5026. Connection by M12 connector or 2 m PUR cable.
- Detects metal targets without contact; sensing range for steel, other metals with the correction factor in the datasheet (IFS304: correction factor 1 for all metals, magnetic-field immune)
- Flush models can be mounted flush in metal, non-flush models have a longer sensing range
- Operating voltage 10–30 V DC (IS5026: 5–36 V DC), reverse polarity, short-circuit and overload protected
- Protection IP65–IP69K, ambient temperature −40…85 °C (IS5026: IP67, −25…80 °C)
- Suitable for industrial machines and mobile equipment
